In light of the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in Marfa, a face mask ordinance has been adopted.
• Begins on June 22, 2020, at 12:01 a.m.
• Face coverings (masks, bandanas, scarves, etc.) MUST be worn inside businesses by employees and customers
• Starting June 27, 2020, businesses who don't comply may be fined $1,000 per violation
• There will be a public hearing on June 25 to address any issues with implementation.
